Beltway Montessori Children’s House is committed to supporting your homeschool goals!

Beltway Montessori Children’s House (BMCH) is a parent-run homeschool co-operative and tutorial service – located in Greenbelt, MD.

Our mission is to provide access to a high-quality, low-cost Montessori education utilizing trained and experienced educators to communities in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

We provide a quality educational environment that cares for the needs of the whole child, encourages independence, unleashes children’s natural curiosity, enhances their intrinsic desire to learn, and instills gratitude for the natural world and human contributions to society and history.

Our vision is for all children to reach their full potential as collaborative, individual learners

We provide a high quality, standards-aligned Montessori education that nurtures their spirits and helps them identify their strengths and purpose as they become engaged citizens of the world.

BMCH recognizes that parents are a child’s first teacher

We provide homeschooling support to parents using Montessori methodology, materials, experiential lessons, and project based learning in language arts, math, science, and social studies to support parents and children in their homeschooling journey.

Equally important, BMCH co-op nurtures a community of parents and homeschooled students…

…that enables children to grow morally, socially, emotionally, and physically through ownership of their own educational journey, community involvement, outdoor play and exploration, and nurtured discussions on ethics, history, and community life utilizing the Socratic method..
